About me
I am an artist, a painter mostly but I also love drawing, printmaking and making books. I make figurative paintings in oils and watercolour, drawn from my local landscape, objects, interiors and old photographs. I explore themes of place and belonging, transience, light and memory. The exterior world becomes a metaphor for issues such as grief, loss or topics that are close to my own experience.
This year I am taking part in Dorset Art Weeks 2026, from May 23rd until June 7th. It is a chance for people to visit my studio, see my works, ask questions and make some work as well if you wish! I will also have works available to buy including original oil paintings, prints, watercolours, drawings, botanical prints and cards.
For recent work please follow my instagram account.
My studio in Southbourne will be open 10 - 4 on the following dates: 24th, 25th, 28th, 29th, 30th and 31st May, 2nd, 5th, 6th and 7th June.
Please contact me if you have any questions or for an exact address on
07830 133 628
Thanks, Hannah

Workshops
I deliver bespoke workshops and one to one sessions in my home studio. Techniques I teach include watercolour painting, landscape painting for beginners and intermediate level, botanical printing, mono printing and bookmaking. I also run one-off watercolour card making sessions for seasonal occasions. Groups are small due to space but friendly with lots of support. I will add a link below to book those on offer soon or please contact me for a private group or one to one tuition.

Arts and Health
My passion alongside my own arts practice is working therapeutically using the arts with a range of people. I have many years of experience delivering arts and health projects in hospitals, homeless projects and mental health settings in the North London and Hertfordshire area. I am now based in Southbourne, Bournemouth and currently work for a local women's charity called Safe and Sound Dorset. I have a diploma in Art Therapy and training in trauma informed arts practice.
